I was told they were bronze and possibly cast. Both sconces have their original green patina and are not presently wired. They are in awesome original antique condition. One of the lanterns is missing 2 of the glass panels and the other one has all the glass but one panel has a piece broke off on two of the corners, also one has the porcelain socket piece and the other does not. I believe there are a few of the small brass/bronze screws missing as shown in the pictures. Other than that they are in awesome solid condition absolutely gorgeous lights. The only markings I see is a “M” underlined on the bottom bracket piece. Each light measures approx. 24″ total length x 11″ wide. The Lantern part itself measures 11″ tall (with top piece) x 5-1/2″ wide. Each octagon base pieces measure 7-1/2 in diameter. Total weight of each light is approx. Shaped backrests with deep buttoned upholstery over padded arms, with interesting folded detail in the leather, on crisply turned mahogany spindles. Very comfortable loose seat cushions. Raised on short turned legs front and rear. Excellent quality with solid mahogany frames. Note the wedge below the front of the seat to stop the cushions sliding forward. Hello, you are viewing my sale for a Pair of Antique Victorian Gothic Double Arm Wall Sconce Light Fixtures with Large Hanging Crystals. These sconces combined weigh 6.8 pounds and they each measure 10″ tall without the crystals by 14 and 1/4″ tall with the crystals by 11″ wide by 4″ deep. A magnet will not stick to the metal. Stunning LARGE vtg PAIR Cut Crystal LAMPS with PRISMS French Hollywood GLAM. Offering an Amazing Pair of vintage Hand Cut Crystal Lamps with beautifully faceted large prisms. Finely etched gold tone metal arms. Each lamp retains original stickers which read. Imported Hand Cut FINE. Base and “Balls” comprising. Stem finely and deeply faceted. Approx– 31 3/4 as shown height. 22 to top of socket. 8 1 /4 across arms. In very good condition. Lamps work, but as with all original older wiring we recommend checking and updating as necessary. One prism missing from one lamp. (retains smaller ball for attaching). The other lamp– missing two prisms and the smaller balls. Not really noticeable–since there are so many prisms. Last photo shows– one prism is AS. Otherwise, these lamps are in very good to excellent condition. Crystal is clear and lustrous. We wrap all our items very carefully.
