Pair Male Female Kwan Yin Gilded Iron Antique Japan Large

Very rare cast iron of the Kwan yin diety and Dizang or Kannon if Japanese. Though a couple they are rarely if ever found in a pair. This couple are, as they should be, perfect mirror images with the male being 21 inches tall while the female measures 20.5 inches. There is a missing crown, a missing bottom of one diaphanous gown and part of a crown. For well over 100 years old they are in surprisingly good condition. They were made in molds and then front and back soldered together. The robes were added after. The bottom of each have a very tiny gold label that simply says Japan. These may have been made in China and exported to Japan or made in Japan. Striking on a table, mantel or wall shelf they weigh 13 pounds each. Large Antique Pair Boston Apothecary Bottles, Hand Painted Labels, 19th Century. Pair of large 13 ground glass apothecary bottles from an 1870-90 Boston, Mass. Each bottle has original removeable ground glass stopper and meadures 13″ tall by 4.5″ wide. Labels are hand painted on glass. They appear to be a baldness tonic and a skin condition cure. They were made by Melvin and Badger on Temple place in Boston Mass. In excellent condition for age 1 bottle has rim cracks. Photos are part of the description so please review carefully.
