Large Antique Pair 19th C Staffordshire Pottery Dog Spaniels With Copper Luster. Color: Copper Luster and white. This is a charming pair of mid to late 19th century Victorian King Charles Spaniel dogs. Distinctive and rich copper luster coloring against a creamy white long-haired coat, yellow eyes, and black noses. Each dog is seated and has the much sought after open front paw. Lock-on neck collar with attached chain. Size (inches): Each measures approximately 9.25″ tall and about 6.75″ across the widest part of the base. Condition: Pre-owned, no chips, there is some age crazing to the glaze as to be expected with items of this age on both dogs. One dog (left side) has an age crack on the backside that runs from the right ear down to the bottom base. We will gladly send additional photos upon request.
