This is an amazing pair of late 19th century large bark carved American Adirondack frames. Outstanding original dark stained surfaces with detailed carving. I call these a pair but they are not quite an exact match. Look closely at the carvings and you will see slight differences as well as one frame being slightly larger than the other. Measurements are: 1 22 x 27 3/4 with a 12 x 16 7/8 rabbet and 2 22 1/2 x 28 1/4 with a 12 1/4 x 17 rabbet. The pair are in excellent condition with only minor wear. Beautiful pair of folk art frames.
