There’s some minor-moderate enamel paint loss in places, especially on the central ascending stems of this otherwise terrific and quite well preserved pair of early 20th century, circa 1920’s, Ita li an antique enamel painted floral decorative tole metal wall candelabras. This pretty spectacular antique 1920’s Ita li an tole enamel painted pair of wall candelabras, take three slender wax candles. They weren’t previously electrified. They remain as they were originally constituted and are untouched and undisturbed. There’s been no’in-painting’ of the areas where the enamel paint has flaked off. None of these instances are major eye sores, fatal or distract from viewing the pieces hung on a wall. They’re a terrific, formal, lively pair of period wall candelabras that feature their original, naturally aged patina and original painted enamel finish. They don’t suffer loss or deformities and would look lovely on either side of a mirror, sideboard, fireplace or bed. They would look equally at home, staggered going up a stairwell, in an entry foyer, a hallway, bathroom or bedroom. With undeniable Italian decorative exuberance. What a gorgeous pair of beautiful orphans looking for a new home. These are statement pieces. Good to Very Good overall antique condition.
