Gorgeous and very large pair of MCM table lamps by Fortune Lamp Co. Dated 1959 (see photo) – Both lamps stand 35″ high (to top of finial) – 11″ wide at center. Center features a vertical wood strip looking pattern with gold banding. Ceramic almost appears like lava rock and is ivory in color (not a true white). Remarkable surviving pair from 1959. Shades are not original to the lamps and are not in good condition (stained). Although they are from 1959, they almost appear to me as more retro 70’s in style and function.
