Lovely Vintage 1940’s 23 Georgene Raggedy Ann and Andy Pair with complete outfits, except Andy’s tie is missing. Well-cared for dolls from the 1940’s. These beautiful dolls with matching faces do have a few minor condition issues: Ann has had some repair to her yarn hair, restitched at the back, and a partial top-knot; she has some very light pencil markings on her forehead and above her eyes; her brass eye buttons have some paint wear; she has some light stains on her face and hands; a couple of tiny areas of broken threads in the center of her forehead; her eye-whites are crackly; her body tag is very worn and mostly illegible. There is a small hole on the back of her apron and the elastic is stretched out. Andy has spectacular yarn hair; he has a few very light red pencil marks on his chest; he is missing his body tag; he has a black ink spot on his butt; the snaps on the back of his suit are pulled through; he has some light spots on his hands; one pants button in front has paint wear; missing his tie; the paint on his nose has wear; you can feel his stuffing in the chest area has separated, but doesn’t make him floppy.
