“Large Pair of Antique Volkstedt Figurines”. Stunning pair of Hand painted figurines. Wonderful intricate detail, the pair have matching striped dress and breeches. Also matching bustle and jacket in finely decorated pink roses, amazing. Both have colourful flowers on their hats There is fine gilt buttons and gilt edging. Condition:- The Gallant has lost a thumb on his right hand apart from that they are in pristine condition the colours are crisp and bright with no chips, cracks or crazing. They both have the Volkstedt “starburst” blue marks on the base along with incised numbers 2400 and an embossed 19. Gentleman 16″ (40.5. Cm) tall x 6″ (15.2. Cm) across the base. Lady 15.1/2″ (39.4. Cm) tall x 6″ (15.2. Cm) across base. Please study the photographs they form part of the condition report any bright spots or lines are from my camera flash and should be ignored.
