Large antique pair of french wood carvings frames 19th century woodwork

Large antique pair of wood carvings. France, 19th century, made of wood. Height (each) : 23.5 in. Width (each) : 12 in. Weight (the pair) : 5lb & 9oz. Good overall condition, I assume they were backs of chairs, can make great frames, the middle parts can be removed easily. My name is Greg, I’m a French guy who had business in Charlotte NC for 3 years. Unfortunately, I had to move back to France because of a slow activity. I fell in love with the US, particulary Charlotte! So now my only goal is to return to Charlotte, and for that I want to export French furnitures and antiques there! This idea came because of my love for wood and history. It is a great area to find valuable furnitures and smalls because of the proximity of wealthy ski resorts like Megève and Chamonix Mont-Blanc. It is also close to Geneva (switzerland), about 45minutes by car. The Geneva area is one of the richest in Europe due to finance and whatchmaking. Italy’s not to far as well, 40 minutes. This is a set of AMAZING antique picture frames. Late 19th century/early 20th century. Oak wood and gesso featuring a striking design of leaves and cattails. Each frame measures 36″ x 32″ and has a rabbet (opening measured from the back) of 24 1/4″ x 20 1/4″. I would be willing to split them up, if you only want one. The price shown is for both frames. Condition: Frames show some light wear around the edges and cracks to the gesso commensurate with age, but are in overall good condition as you can see in the photos.
