Pair of antique Philippine Eagles on Globes. These came from a Florida Estate. It’s unknown how old they were at the time they were brought over. The large eagle stands 37 tall and weighs apx 35lbs. Short eagle stands apx 32 tall. There are some breaks and fixes here and there. The large eagle has a crude repair on wing. It would be pretty easy to dowel mend it to make look near perfect. He also has a split in his breast, tip of tongue broke, tip of a talon broke, tips of snake’s fangs chipped. Short eagle looks like a repair around his neck, maybe… Both are dusty and are in “found condition” with no restoration attempted. Overall they have a great rustic patina, and they display very well.. Local pick-up is definitely welcome. More photos available upon request. Nice elegant 1968 retro chic pair of wall scones. The back plates have an ornate gold style with a scroll pattern on the center. The honeycomb shades are a thick, clear glass that light up beautifully. These take standard light bulbs-bulbs not included. These have been tested and work great. These will need hard wired into your wall. The back plates with the ornate frame measure approximately 5.5″ wide and 7.5″ tall. The box that would be installed into wall measures approximately” wide, 7.75″ tall, and 1 deep. The scones in their entirety will measure approximately 8 out from the wall. The sconce from the open top to the bottom of the glass skirt piece measures approximately 8 tall and 10.5 tall including the metal arm. The glass globe itself measures approximately 5″ across at its widest point and 5″ tall. Stunning vintage Art Deco wall lights lamps -large globe like milk glass shades. Brass mounts with 3 core wire newly fitted I believe. Lovely swirled glass shades quite garish but stylish at the same time look nice when lit up. Slight nibbles around the rim of shades but this is not noticeable when shades are in place. The brass has got some paint/paint flecks and brass is a little scratched /surface marks. But good for age overall. Great look very stylish grand looking. The listing is for the pair.
