Up for your consideration is this pair of rare antique Venetian made chevron trade beads. These are rare “Madder red/Black” chevrons, and each bead consists of 5 layers. They appear black at first glance, but in strong light the true wine color of them shows. Each bead measures approximately 29-33mm hole to hole, by 18-19mm wide. These beads are in overall good antique condition with typical expected surface wear from age and use, and retain their original faceted grinds on the ends. For sale is a Rare pair of Antique 1700s 18th century large size decorative Pewter Table Spoon. It features a shield and laurel pattern on the backside of the stem and a two faced design on the front. The stem boldly fanned out then turns upward in the Hanoverian flatware style. The “Hanoverian” is the most important British flatware pattern in the 18th century. In this pattern the stem widens gradually toward the curved terminal and then turns upward. This form was adopted because the spoon was lad on the table in the French manner (the bottom of the bowl downward). This pattern was manufactured in the British Isles from c. 1710 until the 1770s. Many of these British spoons were exported to America to serve the ever growing population of the new colonies. This particular spoon is a larger example measuring 8″ in length and a rather elongated bowl that measures 3″ by 1.5. No damage of any kind is detected. Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please check photos from all angles for details condition. Feel free to check out my other listings. The headlamps show wear including dents and holes, and possibly missing parts. The glass is intact on both, though one of their brackets to hold the glass is in need of repair. Marked on top of the vents, one vent is missing the end caps. Hard to find these as a pair. They weigh 20lbs each and measure about 13x14x6.5. Vintage Borghese Lamps Pair Brown Gold Original Shades MCM Buffet Luxury Rare. A rare pair of Borghese table lamps with original shades. This pair shows moderate, noticeable evidence of use and age. Each lamp has one chip/nick on the exterior surface — one on the base and one on the side. Each shade shows paint loss on the gold, banded accentuation. The shades also have visible scuffs, scrapes, and discoloration throughout. Each lamp’s felt bottom shows wear that is not visible when the items are in use. Finally, the cords of each lamp have light paint residue, and the brass/metal portions of each lamp show light patina. Please review all photographs provided for an accurate understading of the pair’s condition. Tested and working perfectly. One lamp has a push knob, and one lamp has a dial knob. Item should be re-wired due to age. Finials and all hardware shown will be included, along with a Borghese label on the bottom of each lamp’s base. Each lamp measures 27 tall, including all hardware, the shade, and the finial. 5 wide at the hexagonal base. Each shade has a 10″ diameter at the top, an 11.5″ diameter at the bottom, and a height of 10.5. Lamps are lighter weight, with a painted surface.
